Mellissa Laycy: Hollistic Health Coach
Mellissa is an integrative nutrition health coach and chef. Her keen desire to help others through nutrition began with her own health issues where she suffered for a number of years with anxiety, depression, weight issues, and a very poor immune system. It was through nourishing and rehabilitating her own gut that she managed to align her mind and body to a level she never thought possible.
On the day: Mellissa explained How To have a healthy gut in order for you to gain the best nutrition for your body and mind. She listed the right foods to eat, such as fermented kombucha, kefir and sauerkraut, that help with your guts' digestion and microbiome.
Chris Pinner - Creator of Innerfit
Chris kicked off his career at a US investment bank and then a strategy consultancy firm whose projects regularly demanded working weekends, 12+ days and the odd 36 hour shift! Realising this was no way to live, he worked his way to becoming a level 3 personal trainer and now specialises in sharing practical tips to help people feel and work well to help boost performance with your well being.
On the day: Although normally aimed at companies, Chris tailored his talk especially for us at The How To Club to share his knowledge on the best exercises for your physical and mental health. He shared his top tips on How To reduce your stress levels and look after your well being.
Fiona Lamb - Hypnotherapist
Fiona is a critically acclaimed advanced hypnotherapist, speaker and creator of Mind Detox app. Fiona helps people to facilitate fundamental shifts on an unconscious level to bring about long lasting changes. Having personally overcome anxiety using a variety of techniques and proven methods, Fiona’s own experience has led her to want to help more people overcome their troubles so they can live their lives without unwanted thoughts and behaviours.
On the day: Fiona dived right into explaining How To meditate and why it is so important for your mind. She showed us the Level of Consciousness scale that explains why meditating helps take us from the feeling of fear to love, as no person can feel both these emotions at the same time. Once you let yourself into that relaxed state and achieve mind over matter, you will longer feel held back by any worries from the past and can look only into the future!

Jess Salamanca - Business Coach.
Jess is a founder-turned-coach. In 2019, after years of supporting businesses in her 9-5, she decided to take the plunge and launch her own start-up, healthy ice cream brand Banana Scoops! She spent the Summer selling her ice creams at events, creating the brand, sourcing manufacturers, and pitching to buyers. As well as this, she decided to turn her knowledge from starting the ice cream company into her second business, Moxie Club, where she coaches founders to bring clarity to their business and devise a strategy so they can meet their wildest dreams. She believes that coaching is all about taking your business to the next level.
Josh Trevorrow - Holistic Health Coach
Having always had a passion for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle it made sense for Josh to become a Personal Trainer for Virgin Active over recent years. It was during his time here through working with clients 1:1 that Josh realised people want to be able to know not just how to get fitter physically through exercise, but also from a nutritional and mental aspect too. Taking this into consideration, Josh decided to take on creating his own platform that members can gain access to, to better their mental and physical wellbeing. Purvida is a holistic health platform for everyday mental health.

Jessica is a certified coach and NLP Practitioner, working with impact driven professionals to connect deeply within themselves and with others. She has transformed her own beliefs and experiences and given them a deep purpose, encouraging her clients to do the same. Based in London, Jessica is passionate about combating gender based violence and uses the profits from her business to support these causes.
The talk: On the day Jess will be sharing her top tools for communication skills that you can use in your relationships. She will be discussing the typical problems that tend to occur in relationships and How To navigate them in the best way possible, to ensure any relationships you have, be it romantic, friendships or at the work place, can begin to thrive.
Flo is a Nutritional Therapist and Yoga Teacher for her own company @Bewaved. She is a firm believer that wellness looks different on each and every one of us and what works for some wont work for others and that is absolutely how it should be. She helps guide her students towards their own version of wellness, that incorporates both yogic principles and lifestyle and nutritional changes. Her goal is to help others be the best version of themselves but always on their own terms.
The talk: Flo is going to teach you how-to change your life for the better using four main pillars of wellness that encompass movement, meditation, breath work and dietary changes. She can teach you how to find your version of genuine wellness, without needing to contend with any unnecessary bullshit along the way.
